Fly-In Or Drive-In Bed & Breakfast

In the heart of the Ozark mountains lies a little known treasure. It is called, Brigadoon, a three story bed and breakfast located on a 220 acre estate just down the mountain from Silver Wings Field, the airport at Eureka Springs Arkansas. Your host and hostess are Errol Severe (retired Delta Airlines Captain, author, and president of the Aviation Cadet Museum located at Silver Wings Field) and Beth Severe (recording artist, songwriter, author, playwrite, and the best cook in the Ozarks). When you visit this picturesque home you will be one of the family. No pretenses here, just a warm home-like atmosphere in complete privacy from the outside world.

The views are magnificent! Wild game abounds and can be hunted during the appropriate seasons with prior reservations. On this great wilderness plot we also have running streams, logging roads and several caves all for your exploring pleasure. Bridge "60" from the ES&NA railroad is also located on our property. It was built around 1905.

The runway at Silver Wings Field (5A5), is 1900' long and has excellent clearway on both ends. The runways are 16 and 34 and the surface is very smooth grass. Upon landing you will be picked up by the Severe's and taken to Brigadoon a mere half mile away. Taxi service is available. We are located about ten minutes from downtown Eureka Springs and one hour from Branson, Missouri. Beaver lake and Table Rock lake are also just a short drive. There are several golf courses in the area.

Transportation from Carroll County Airport is a flat rate of $35.00 for two round trips. Drop off and pickup at nearest trolley station is $10.00 for two round trips. All day trolley service around Eureka Springs is $5.00/person for the day.
